Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Furkat Sidikov met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Waleed Al-Khuraiji.

At the meeting, Waleed Al-Khuraiji was informed in detail about the essence and significance of the constitutional reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan. In turn, the Saudi side positively assessed the process of these reforms and noted their importance in the development of the country.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia in political, trade-economic, investment, tourism, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres. The progress of the implementation of agreements reached at a high level in these areas was considered.

It was recognized that the intensification of inter-parliamentary ties is equally important for both sides.
