Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 September 2022, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov met with the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt Hamdi Sanad Loza, who is visiting our country.

The positive dynamics of the Uzbek-Egyptian cooperation was noted with satisfaction. The course of implementation of the agreements reached and the schedule of upcoming events were considered.

An exchange of views took place on the interaction between Uzbekistan and Egypt within the framework of the UN, OIC and other international institutions.

Hamdi Sanad Loza highly appreciated the chairmanship of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and expressed gratitude to the Uzbek side for the all possible assistance in working out the issue of granting Egypt the status of a SCO Dialogue Partner.
