Fourth Meeting of the Belarus–Uzbekistan Business Council Held in Vitebsk
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 2 September 2025, the fourth meeting of the Belarus–Uzbekistan Business Council took place in Vitebsk, Republic of Belarus.
The event was organized in cooperation with the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
The session was opened by Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhail Miatlіkov. On the Uzbek side, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dilshod Rasulov participated online.
During the meeting, representatives of the business communities of the two countries, major industrial enterprises, and private sector representatives discussed available opportunities, new joint projects, and prospects for cooperation.
Belarus presented detailed information on the special economic zones of Vitebsk — “Vitebsk” and “Bremіno-Orsha” — as well as enterprises operating within these zones.
From Uzbekistan, Advisor to the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Islam Babajanov introduced participants to the activities of the “AIRITOM” Free Economic Trade Center in the Surkhandarya region and the opportunities it offers.
Entrepreneurs exchanged experiences and discussed ways to expand trade and economic relations. Negotiations were held in a B2B format to increase trade turnover between the two markets and establish practical cooperation.
As a result of the meeting, investment agreements were signed between the Uzbek company AGROMAX TECHNIC and Belarusian enterprises Minsk Tractor Plant and Bobruisk Agro Mash.
