Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5-10 March this year, it will occasionally rain across the territory of Uzbekistan, precipitation (rain, snow) in the highlands, heavy precipitation is possible in the foothill and mountainous regions on 5-6 and 8-10 March.

According to the Uzhydromet service, on 5-10 March, winds are expected to increase to 15-20 m / s in some places, in some areas with dusty snow:

in Jizzakh, Navoi regions on 5 and 7 March;

in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Kashkadarya region on 7 March, gusts up to 22-25 m/s are possible.

In connection with the expected rains on 5-6 and 8-10 March, mudflow and flood are possible in the foothills and mountainous regions of Uzbekistan.

The mudflow and flood can occure in some districts of Kashkadarya region, Surkhandarya region, Samarkand region, Navoi region, Jizzakh region, Tashkent region, Namangan region, Ferghana region, Andijan region.

Citizens living in the foothills and mountainous areas, vacationers and drivers traveling to mountainous areas are asked to take precautions.
