Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the President "On additional measures for material support of the population in need of social protection and assistance" was adopted.

According to the resolution, from 1 July 2022:

when funds are allocated from the State budget for the maintenance of family-type orphanages, the amount of expenses per pupil, as well as the necessary funds based on the number of children, are transferred to bank plastic cards opened in the name of parents; 

50 percent bonuses are paid to the basic tariff rates of technical and auxiliary personnel of specialized schools and boarding schools for children with disabilities in physical or mental development, as well as vocational schools for children with disabilities.

According to the resolution, for the library fund of specialized schools and boarding schools for children with disabilities in physical or mental development, it was decided to allocate 5 billion soums annually to regularly provide these institutions with fiction through the Republican Target Book Fund.

In 2023-2025, measures will be taken to create rehabilitation centers for multidisciplinary specialized preschool educational organizations "Imkon" in 10 regions.

According to the resolution:

orphans and children left without parental care, when registering in their name housing purchased for them by the state in the secondary market, on the basis of ownership, are exempted from paying the state fee for notary and cadastral services (contract of sale and state registration of real estate );

the practice of allocating funds to students who are orphans or left without parental care to purchase food, clothing and sanitary items in state higher educational institutions also applies to students of non-state higher educational institutions;

Starting from 1 June 2022, persons with disabilities who are trained in professions at the Ishga Markhamat monocenters on the basis of inclusive education, along with the disability allowance, are also paid a monthly stipend in the double amount of the basic estimated value.

From 1 May 2022, a procedure will be introduced for the monthly payment of 20 percent of the amount of the corresponding pension for personal expenses to elderly and disabled citizens living in Sakhovat homes who do not have the necessary work experience.

According to the document, it was decided to provide veteran soldiers with disabilities who participated in the Afghan war with appropriate modern prosthetic and orthopedic products made to individual measurements.

From 1 January 2023:

a procedure is introduced for recalculating the size of the disability pension every two years for citizens who have worked after the assignment of disability pensions of groups I and II, taking into account the length of service and wages;

a system is being introduced to allocate state subsidies to the territorial divisions of the Society of the Disabled of Uzbekistan, the Society of the Blind of Uzbekistan, the Society of the Deaf of Uzbekistan, as well as the Association of the Disabled of Uzbekistan at the expense of public regional funds.

Also, in 2022-2023, 600 billion soums will be allocated for the construction and repair of state social institutions, and strengthening their material and technical base.
