Fog limits the work of two airports in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- This morning, planes were unable to take off and land at the airports of Ferghana and Bukhara due to poor visibility.

Due to dense fog at Ferghana airport - visibility is about 50 meters - Ural Airlines flight SVR-8317, flying from Moscow with 227 passengers on board, could not land at the destination airport and left at 07:32 for an alternate airfield in Namangan.

Also, due to weather conditions at the destination airport, Uzbekistan Airways HY-83 flight on Tashkent-Ferghana route is delayed, according to preliminary data, the departure is scheduled at 13:15.

Thick fog caused the delay of Uzbekistan Airways flight HY-024 on the Bukhara-Tashkent route. The plane with 138 passengers on board was able to take off at 11:29 instead of 09:20 as scheduled. The airport is currently operating normally.
