Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Chinese company Fht Future Technology plans to build a technopark and a solar photovoltaic station in the Fergana region through investments in the amount of US$350 million, UzA reported.
This project was discussed during the meeting of the khokim of Ferghana region Khayrulla Bozorov with a group of investors, which included representatives of Fht Future Technology.
Fht Future Technology Executive Director Li Wenjing presented a large investment project to be implemented in the Fergana region.
According to the project, the Chinese company plans to build an innovative technology park on an area of 25 hectares and a solar photovoltaic station on an area of 500 hectares. The volume of investments will be US$350 million.
The generated electricity is supposed to be directed to the provision of foreign enterprises, which will be located in the technopark.
The Technopark will focus on the production of products based on modern innovative technologies, including software and information technologies, as well as cement.
Khayrulla Bozorov proposed to create a working group for joint work on the project.
