Ferghana Region and German Medical Companies Discuss Practical Implementation of Joint Projects
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Hokim of Ferghana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, held a meeting with Eugene Polyanovsky, CEO of MedCare24 GmbH, Olga Engelmann, founder of the Germany Medical Institute, and Irina Nazarenko, head of the research group at Freiburg University Clinic.
The meeting was also attended by Nurillo Mamasodikov, Rector of the Central Asian Medical University.
The discussions focused on moving to the practical phase of agreements signed in July this year between the Central Asian Medical University, MedCare24 GmbH, and the Germany Medical Institute, valued at €5 million.
The cooperation covers experience exchange, training of doctors and medical staff, patient treatment within social programs, and the development of international clinical partnerships.
During the visit, the guests familiarized themselves with the activities of the university and clinics and praised the range of modern medical services available to the population.
The parties discussed the further development of healthcare in Ferghana Region, the organization of advanced training for graduates proficient in German and their employment in Germany, the creation of a scientific laboratory, and the implementation of other joint initiatives.
Hokim Bozorov emphasized the importance of these initiatives for the region’s healthcare system, confirmed readiness to support the projects, and stressed the need for their accelerated implementation.
