Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 October, A.Kh., born in 1996, addressed the police with a statement, who said that on 28 October, when he arrived at the parking lot located in the market “Kuylyuk”, to engage in a private taxi in the direction “Kuylyuk-Akkurgan”, a parking worker named Gulchekhra demanded from him US$200 so that he could work.

The women said that if he didn’t give money, he would not be allowed to work quietly, in this regard, the applicant asked to take legal action against the extortionist. 

On the basis of this statement, the officers of the police conducted the operational event and detained G.Yu. red-handed on the territory of the Kuylyuk dekhkan market in the parking lot at the time of receipt of US$200 from the applicant A.Kh. It was revealed that the woman was earlier convicted.

On this fact in relation to the suspect G.Yu. documents were collected, sent to the Investigation Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the extortionist was detained on the basis of Article 224 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
