Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting between Deputy Minister of Agriculture - Director General of the National Center for Knowledge and Innovation in Agriculture Alisher Turaev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Mongolia to the Republic of Kazakhstan Dorje Bayarkhuu.

The main topic of the meeting was the reforms being implemented in the agricultural sector of the two countries, the introduction of market mechanisms, the development of modern management systems and the increase in export potential in this direction.

During the meeting, issues of studying the climatic conditions of the country of Mongolia, increasing the volume of agricultural products supplied to this country, and outlined plans in the field of animal husbandry for the near future in connection with the development of livestock production were discussed.

In addition, negotiations were held between Mongolian and Uzbek agricultural universities on the issue of student exchange, attracting students to master’s and doctoral studies.

The achieved achievements and future plans for the further development of relations and the expansion of multifaceted cooperation were also noted.
