Erdogan: Türkiye Ready to Play Active Role in Resolving Regional Crises and Supporting Those Affected
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized the significance of the historical processes unfolding in the region and outlined Ankara’s position on key international issues.
According to Erdogan, the region is experiencing momentous changes that are shaping a new world order, with events unfolding at the heart of Turkish geography, reminiscent of developments a century ago.
Erdogan noted that Türkiye is making every effort to bring the conflict between Russia and Ukraine to an end, maintaining contact with both sides to facilitate peace and de-escalate the crisis. He highlighted that Ankara is paying particular attention to ensuring security in the Black Sea region.
The president also emphasized the intensification of humanitarian assistance efforts in Gaza, noting that Turkish trucks carrying aid have begun arriving in the enclave.
Erdogan further drew attention to the upcoming challenges for the Islamic world and humanity as a whole, stressing the need to monitor Israel’s fulfillment of its obligations.
