Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26 July 2021, entrance exams began for admission to the Almalyk branch of the National Research Technological University "MISiS".

Examinations are held from 26 to 30 July at the stadium "AGMK" of JSC "Almalyk MMC". 1276 applicants submitted documents to the Almalyk branch of the National Research Technological University "MISiS".

Examinations are held in writing in the subjects "Mathematics", "Physics" and "Russian language". In order to ensure transparency and objectivity, the entrance exams are controlled by the faculty of the Branch, representatives of Almalyk MMC and representatives of the media.

The examination process completely recorded. Additional lighting fixtures are installed at the exam site.

It should be noted that for the 2021-2022 academic year, according to the decision of the Republican State Commission for Determining Quotas, the Almalyk branch of the National Research Technological University is planned to admit 200 full-time students and 150 students for extramural education, and 40 percent of full-time students will study in the state grants of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

To date, 500 students study in the Branch in the areas of "Mining", "Metallurgy" and "Automation and control of technological processes and production (by industry)".
