Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Employees of AKFA University were awarded with “Mehr-Sakhovat” (“Mercy and Generosity”) badges. The award ceremony was held at the Youth Creative Palace, the university said in a statement.

Teacher assistants of AKFA University Asmik Kostyunina and Kamila Narkulova became owners of Mehr-Sakhovat badges.

On 26 May 2020, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On the establishment of the Mehr-Sakhovat badge”.

The badge is awarded to citizens of Uzbekistan for bravery and courage shown in overcoming the trials that the people of Uzbekistan had to endure during the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, which has become a global threat, while eliminating the consequences of various natural disasters and emergencies.
