Embassy of Uzbekistan in Moscow Denies Involvement of Its Staff in Bolshaya Polyanka Incident

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia has denied any involvement of its staff in the incident involving the assault of a Moscow resident.

The diplomatic mission stated that the information circulating in several Telegram channels about the events on August 31, 2025, at 28 Bolshaya Polyanka Street is not accurate.

The vehicle and individuals depicted in the published photographs have no connection to the Embassy of Uzbekistan.

The diplomatic license plate on the car belongs to the mission of another country.

The Embassy emphasized that any attempts to hold the Uzbek diplomatic mission responsible for the incident are unfounded and unacceptable.

The diplomatic service urged the public and media outlets to refrain from spreading unverified information.
