Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Akbar Rizayev has been appointed director of the Public Fund for Support and Development of National Mass Media. He took up this post on 11 February 2021. This was reported by the official telegram channel of the Fund.

Previously, he held the position of head of the Information and Analytical Support Department of the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
