Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Digital Holding, MegaFon and IT‑Med LLC under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of digitalization of healthcare. The largest digital holding of Uzbekistan, within the framework of Innoprom, presented technological solutions for the implementation of the E-Health 2025 strategy.
“Modern digital technologies help not only build and automate processes, freeing the staff of medical institutions from part of the routine work, but also improve the quality and efficiency of service delivery. Thus, telemedicine solutions will provide access to highly qualified medical care to any patient, regardless of where he is, and the electronic prescription system will allow you to control the circulation of medicines and protect patients. The Digital Holding team has extensive experience in implementing similar projects in other countries, and we are pleased to offer our opportunities to strengthen the healthcare system in Uzbekistan,” says Andrey Maigur, CEO of Digital Holding.
“The scale of the use of digital technologies in the field of healthcare in Uzbekistan is becoming wider. Building a patient-oriented digitalization of the healthcare sector will help, first of all, improve the quality and efficiency of providing medical services to the population, as well as simplify the management process. Digital Holding digital solutions are aimed at achieving more successful results in the prevention and treatment of diseases,” says Artur Khakimov, Director of IT‑Med.
It is planned to complete the creation of a unified medical database and a complex of integrated information systems in Uzbekistan by 2025. In addition to developing solutions for telemedicine consultations and launching an electronic prescription platform, the efforts of the parties will be directed to the development of information systems that make it possible to simplify the management of the health insurance fund and control the quality of services provided.
Patients of medical institutions are waiting for the transition to electronic medical records and convenient online appointment services for doctors, informing about the results of laboratory tests via SMS and e-mail.
As part of the cooperation, it is also planned to model a system for emergency medical workers with audio and video communication between dispatchers and teams and prompt SMS notification of doctors.
