Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A delegation led by Minister of Innovative Development Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov visited Turkey as part of the Istanbul Economic Summit. A meeting with representatives of Technopol Istanbul Technopark took place.

Technopol Istanbul is a technology development organization at the University of Health Sciences of the Republic of Turkey, and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Innovation Development and this university in 2019.

The meeting was attended by the General Director of Technopol Dr. Orhan Chomlek, he informed about the activities, potential and work done by the organization. During the negotiations, the parties discussed the organization of advanced training courses for Uzbek startups in Turkey, the participation of Technopol Istanbul residents in the International Week of Innovative Ideas "InnoWeek.uz", as well as cooperation in the creation of technology parks in the Romitan innovation zone in the Bukhara region.

Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Technopol Istanbul and the Ministry of Innovative Development, and further steps were determined.
