Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As already reported, in the city of Nurafshan, Tashkent region, in a two-storey house on Shonshukhrat street of the Obod turmush mahalla, an outbreak of a gas-air mixture occurred. 

At the scene, employees of the Khududgaz Toshkent branch worked together with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the press service of Khududgaztaminot reported.

During the study, it was revealed that the accumulation of natural gas in the premises of one of the apartments of a two-story building happened as a result of the theft of natural gas for domestic needs.

The owner of the apartment, having removed the meter, connected the gas pipes with a sewer siphon, which provoked a natural gas leak. As a result of the outbreak of the gas-air mixture, one person died.
