Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 17-18 December, a full-scale command post exercise was held at the Kamchik pass with the involvement of the forces and resources of more than 40 organizations that are part of the State Emergency Situations System (State System of Emergency Situations).

The entire exercise process was coordinated by experts from the Ministry of Emergencies. All possible scenarios for the development of events that may occur on this strategic section of the Tashkent-Osh international highway were worked out during the command-control exercise.

These are about 15 episodes - the actions of the rescue forces in the event of an avalanche, the elimination of a major accident followed by a fire, the evacuation and placement of people, the search for victims under the rubble, the disposal of pesticides that spilled out during transportation, the provision of medical assistance to the injured, etc.

To accomplish the assigned tasks, the modern equipment and specialists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Health, Uzbekiston Temir Yollari and other structures were involved. 

These command post exercises clearly showed the high level of readiness of all services of the State Emergency Service.
