China-Uzbekistan trade turnover reaches US$730.591m in Jan-April

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- China’s trade turnover with Uzbekistan reached US$200.083 million in April 2009, and the trade in January-April reached US$730.591 million, up 84.8% year-on-year, the General Administration of Customs of China said.

China’s import from Uzbekistan reached US$55.752 million in April 2009, and the import in January-April reached US$136.577 million, up 61.9% year-on-year.

China’s export to Uzbekistan reached US$144.332 million in April 2009, and the export in January-April reached US$594.014 million, up 91% year-on-year.

Trade turnover between China and Uzbekistan was US$1.606 billion in 2008, the Chinese authorities said.
