China grants US$3.7m to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Chinese government allocated 25 million yuans (about US$3.7 million) grant to the government of Uzbekistan.
Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan Elyor Ganiev and Chinese Ambassador to Uzbekistan Yu Hongjun signed a corresponding note.
The grant will be directed to equipment of customs post with mobile x-rays, which will help to boost regional trade and prevent smuggling, traffic of arms and drugs.
