Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis met with residents of the Chilanzar region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 March, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva visited the Chilanzar district in order to study the socio-economic development of the region, work carried out in the mahalla system to improve the living standards of the population, develop entrepreneurial activity , as well as direct dialogue with the population.

First, she familiarized herself with the conditions created for the population in the al-Khorezmi makhalla assembly of citizens. An open dialogue was held with residents of the makhalla near the playground.

In addition, the Chairperson of the Senate visited sewing workshops for women and youth, included in the "women’s notebook" and "youth notebook", and talked with the seamstresses working here.

She also got acquainted with the activities of the Center for Rehabilitation and Adaptation of Women in Tashkent, talked with women who temporarily live in this institution. Suggestions and recommendations were made for the further improvement of the center’s activities.

The next address was the business centers organized on the basement of the multi-storey buildings of the 2-Charkh Kamolon makhalla. The President of the Senate also spoke with young businessmen who are engaged in entrepreneurial activities.

An acquaintance with the conditions created for the secretariat of the regional Kengash was also held, the proposals of the people’s representatives on the socio-economic development of the territory were heard.

During the visit to the makhallas of the district, the addresses of the population, especially women, were heard and studied in detail. Instructions have been given to the relevant authorities to resolve the issues raised.
