Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zamin Foundation Ziroat Mirziyoyeva visited the first hospital school in Uzbekistan "Mehrli Maktab". Having familiarized herself with the conditions at the school, she addressed teachers and parents with words of support, said kind words to the children.

The task of the school is to promote the realization of the right to receive quality and affordable continuous education for children who are on long-term treatment and who are not able to attend a regular school or kindergarten. It also serves as a full-fledged rehabilitation, adaptation and socialization of the child with the involvement of parents in this process.

Teachers and psychologists for this hospital school were selected on a competitive basis and received special training in hospital pedagogy.

Taking into account the immunodeficiency of children, the school is equipped with specific medical requirements and equipped with hypoallergenic materials. In the educational process, only digitized textbooks and personalized books are used.

The school has created a creative studio Zamin Creative. In it, children learn music, fine arts and media. An IT laboratory has been created, there is a sensory room.

At the same time, the school serves as a methodological center, which will develop and create adapted curricula to create a barrier-free environment, as well as modules for advanced training of teachers in hospital pedagogy.
