Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January - September 2021, 2.2 million tons of cement were imported from abroad to Uzbekistan in the amount of US$105.2 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, this is 448,800 tons more than in the same period of last year.

The main importing countries of Uzbekistan cement for 9 months of 2021:

Kazakhstan – 964,000 tons

Tajikistan - 560,000 tons

Kyrgyz R. - 547,000 tons

Iran - 49,000 tons

Turkmenistan - 33,000 tons
