Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Single communication operator Beeline (Unitel and Buzton) held first auction of the “golden numbers” through Uzbex.com trade system.

The company put several numbers with prefix 000 XX XX. It said that one of Beeline clients purchased “golden number” for 4 million soums.

Andrei Solouhin, commercial director of Unitel, said the raised money will be directed as charity aid to mercy houses in Uzbekistan within the Good Deeds 2009 project.
