Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Employees of the Tashkent-AERO Specialized Customs Complex prevented the illegal export of historical gold coins during the reign of the Russian Emperor Nicholas II. This was reported by the press service of the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan.
In particular, historical gold coins, hidden from customs control and not declared in the passenger customs declaration, in the amount of 4 units, were found among the belongings of one of the passengers flying abroad during customs control in accordance with the established procedure.
According to preliminary estimates, the total cost of the coins was 25,000,000 soums.
Currently, on the revealed fact of the offense, customs inspections are underway.
