Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Applicants in 2021 will take five exams for admission to universities, and the maximum score will be 280.5, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education reports, citing the state commission on admission to educational institutions.
Upon admission to universities, there will be tests in three compulsory and two special subjects:
- compulsory subjects will be the native language (Uzbek, Russian, Karakalpak and other languages), mathematics and the history of Uzbekistan. Each block contains 15 questions, for each of which 2.1 points will be assigned. In total, an applicant can score 94.5 points.
- there will also be tests in two special subjects containing 30 questions each, based on their direction. Each correct answer is worth 3.1 points. A maximum of 186 points can be obtained in two special subjects.
