Andijan region’s economy grows by 10.6% in 1H

Production of consumer goods in the region increased by 20% and agricultural goods grew by 6.3%. Output of construction materials increased by 23%. Retail trade turnover grew by 9.6%.

The volume of foreign investments and credits, which have been assimilated in line with regional investment programme, made up US$3.9 million. Four enterprises have been commissioned with involvement of foreign investments.

The volume of exports of Andijan region for over the past period made up US$135 million.
