An earthquake occurred in Ferghana region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Republican Center for Seismic Forecasting Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that an earthquake occurred on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 1 March at 05:22 local time.

Epicenter was in Quva district of Ferghana region. Earthquake coordinates: 40.45 degrees north latitude; 72.08 degrees east longitude. Magnitude M=3.5. Depth 11 km. The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent is 257 km in a southeast direction.
