An earthquake occurred in Andijan region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Republican Center for Seismic Predictive Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that an earthquake occurred on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan at 18:13 local time on 28 January 2023.

Epicenter was in Khanabad district of Andijan region. Earthquake coordinates: 40.83 degrees north latitude; 73.12 degrees East. Magnitude M=3. Depth 15 km.

The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent is 331 km in a southeasterly direction.
