Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 27 September 2021, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Japan Mukhsinkhuja Abdurakhmonov presented his credentials to the Emperor of Japan Naruhito.

During the conversation, the Emperor of Japan highly appreciated the reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The positive dynamics of the Uzbek-Japanese strategic partnership was noted with satisfaction. Japan’s interest in further expanding and deepening cooperation was confirmed by Uzbekistan, which is considered by Tokyo as a key state in Central Asia.
