Akmal Saidov meets with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- First Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis A. Saidov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Uzbekistan Takashi Hatori.

At the beginning of the conversation, A. Saidov sincerely congratulated Takashi Hatori on his appointment as Ambassador to our country and wished him success in fulfilling a responsible and honorable diplomatic mission.

At the meeting, the distinguished guest was given detailed information about the structure of the Legislative Chamber, its main tasks and the ongoing constitutional reforms in the country.

In particular, it was noted that it is necessary to create a new constitutional and legal space in accordance with the fundamental reforms in our country, such as the large-scale tasks defined in the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan, the creation of a people’s state, more effectively ensuring the honor and dignity of a person, his rights and interests.

In turn, Takashi Hatori, expressing gratitude to the leadership of the Legislative Chamber for the meeting, stressed that the activities of the parliament are of great importance in the domestic and foreign policy of the state, its stable development in the socio-economic, political and other spheres.

During his speech, Hatori highly appreciated the political will and initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as well as the large-scale reforms being carried out in the country, which serve to raise the status and authority of Uzbekistan in the world community to a higher level.

- The official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Japan created a solid foundation for the further development of relations between our countries. I believe that the traditional and stable cooperation will only continue, and I, as an ambassador, will make every effort for this,” T. Hatori said.

At the end of the conversation, the parties agreed to implement appropriate measures by exchanging views not only between parliaments, but also on the development of other areas and areas.
