Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AGMK) exported products worth US$1.12 billion in 2021.
In 2021, the company supplied over 92,535 tons of copper products to foreign consumers, including, cathode copper - 81,134 tons, copper rod - 6,291 tons, copper pipes - 5,111 tons, copper sulfate - 13,861 tons.
In total, over the past year, 63,880 tons of zinc products, 62,232 tons of metallic zinc, 1,648 tons of zinc sulfate were exported.
A high result was achieved in the export of sulfuric acid. The enterprise exported 86 102 tons of these products. In 2021, 862 tons of molybdenum were exported.
Good results were also noted in the export of rhenium, tungsten, palladium powder, selenium, tellurium. In particular, the target for the export of rhenium was fulfilled by 236.9%, tungsten - 117.7%, palladium powder - 177.5%, selenium - 232%, tellurium - 148.3%.
The export geography of the products manufactured by the plant covers such countries as Turkey, the Russian Federation, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Poland, Tajikistan, Indonesia, the Netherlands, China, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan.
According to the company, AGMK produced products for a total of 30.7 billion soums in 2021.
At the same time, consumer goods worth 3.53 billion soums were produced.
The plan for the production of copper was fulfilled - 148.5 thousand tons. AGMK produced 17.2% more gold and 63.6% more silver than expected. Zinc production amounted to 90 thousand tons, also exceeding the target by 19%.
The net profit of AGMK in 2021 amounted to 5.32 trillion soums, which is 36% higher compared to 2020 (3.9 trillion soums).
