Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Further facts on the illegal circulation of pyrotechnic products were identified and suppressed as a result of operational measures carried out by employees of the Anti-Smuggling and Customs Audit Department of the State Customs Committee for the Samarkand region in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies.

During the event, held on the territory of the city of Samarkand, on the basis of the received operational information, a KIA Carnival vehicle was stopped and inspected in accordance with the established procedure.

As a result of the checks carried out, in the cargo part of the vehicle, those belonging to the citizen U.A. pyrotechnic products of foreign production in the amount of 56 172 units, for a total of 111 million soums.

Currently, on the revealed fact of the offense, customs checks and investigative actions are being carried out.
