Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tajikistan has appointed a new ambassador of the country to Uzbekistan. President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon signed a decree on 4 May on the appointment of the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan.
According to the decree, Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda has been appointed the new ambassador of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan.
Prior to this appointment, Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda worked as Assistant to the President of Tajikistan for Social Development and Public Relations.
In this post, he will replace Sodik Imomi, who recently completed his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.
