Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the Presidential resolution “On additional measures to improve the system of support for persons with disabilities”, by 1 June 2023, a unified list of benefits for persons with disabilities and citizens caring for them will be formed.

This list will be posted on the legal information portal "Advice.uz".

From the 2023/2024 academic year, a full state grant is provided for studying in the master’s program in the direction of "Special Pedagogy, Defectology".

In the 2023/2024 academic year:

materials on the procedure for admission, intended for applicants, will be provided in formats accessible to persons with disabilities;

at the same time, videos with sign language translation or subtitles will be provided.

Conditions will be created for one of his relatives to stay with a person with a disability at the university to assist in the educational process.

The National Center for Rehabilitation and Prosthetics for Persons with Disabilities and its territorial centers will be equipped this year with sets of robotic locators and other modern rehabilitation equipment.

In accordance with the resolution, a plan of additional measures to improve the system of support for persons with disabilities was also approved.
