Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An official welcoming ceremony for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at the residence of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Imran Khan walked around the guard of honor and went up to the podium. The national anthems of Uzbekistan and Pakistan were played.

The ceremony was also attended by members of the official delegations of the two countries.

The President of Uzbekistan, as a sign of friendship and harmony between our peoples, planted a tree in the garden of the residence.

Then negotiations of the leaders in a narrow format began.
