Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "On measures to organize the activities of the Yoshlik children’s sanatorium" of the system of the Agency of Presidential Educational Institutions was adopted.

According to the document, the Yoshlik children’s sanatorium of Uzmetkombinat JSC, located in Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region, was transferred free of charge to the Agency of Presidential Educational Institutions. Within 10 years, Uzmetkombinat JSC will transfer sponsorship funds to cover the costs of maintaining the sanatorium. On the basis of the Yoshlik sanatorium, the Renaissance sanatorium is being created.

The main activities of the sanatorium:

strengthening the health of children, accustoming them to a healthy lifestyle, increasing physical fitness;

developing the potential of young people in the areas of IT, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics), business management, creativity;

entrepreneurship training for young people, support for initiatives and start-ups;

support for young people with disabilities;

formation of a database of talented youth and the introduction of mechanisms for systematic work with them.

The sanatorium is open throughout the year, talented children will rest and study there.

Sources of financing of the sanatorium:

sponsorship donations of Uzmetkombinat;

funds from the Gifted Youth Support Fund under the Agency of Presidential Educational Institutions;

income from the implementation of start-up projects and services;

sponsorship funds of legal entities and individuals;

grants from international financial institutions and organizations.
