A pedestrian died from his injuries as a result of an accident in Yashnabad district

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 July 2021, at about 00:30 am on Karasu street in Yashnabad district, Khozhiakbar L., born in 1999, on the basis of a power of attorney, driving a car of the "Matiz" brand (state number 01 L 697 SV), hit a pedestrian - Shavkat B. born in 1956 - crossing the road in the wrong place.

As a result of the road accident, a pedestrian died from his injuries at the scene. 

On this fact, the investigation department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent opened a case on the grounds of a crime provided for by part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. An investigation is underway.
