Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Special plastic cards for paying alimony will appear in Uzbekistan.

A new procedure for paying alimony is being introduced in Uzbekistan from 1 March. Now transfers of all money will be carried out through the Unified Information System for the Execution and Control of Alimony Obligations, which will be integrated with a separate bank account for alimony obligations.

The Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement will issue an appropriate bank card in the name of the claimant (recipient of alimony).

Maintenance money, including those withheld from the salary of the maintenance debtor, will be transferred through this separate bank account to this bank card.
