Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shahrukh Rakhimov was appointed director of the Agency for International Cooperation and Development under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Prior to his appointment, Shahrukh Rakhimov worked as the head of various structural divisions in the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade and other organizations and industry associations.
The main functions and tasks of the Agency are to increase the efficiency of investment projects implemented through external borrowings attracted under a state guarantee, pre-project evaluation of investment proposals, assisting project initiators in preparing technical specifications and necessary project documentation, introducing a system of mechanisms for effective management and monitoring their implementation, ensuring transparency of tenders and other areas.
