Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24-25 May, Tashkent hosted an international conference "Good Governance for Economic Development in Central Asia", the press service of the State Statistics Committee reported.
The purpose of this international conference was to ensure sustainable and inclusive economic growth in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
On 25 May, within the framework of this international conference, the State Statistics Committee hosted a meeting between the Chairman of the State Statistics Committee Begalov Bakhodir Abdusalomovich and the First Deputy Chairman of the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic Ainura Dzhantaevna Orozbayeva.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on issues of bilateral cooperation, the effective use of statistical data in order to ensure the quality of governance and closely related policies in achieving the goals of good governance for economic development in Central Asia.
On 23 May, within the framework of this international conference, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the State Statistics Committee Begalov Bakhodir and the Head of the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhandos Shaimardanov.
