Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Abruev met with a delegation of the State Social Protection Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan, headed by Chairman of the Board Himalai Mamishov, who arrived in our country.

Negotiations were held to improve the system for assigning and paying pensions and social benefits, as well as to exchange experience in this area. Representatives of both sides made presentations on the latest news and reforms in the system of social protection and pensions, discussed existing problems and plans for the future.

The need to reform the social security sector in light of the new challenges facing it was stressed. The parties noted the importance of a mutually beneficial partnership between the countries in this direction and agreed to continue cooperation.
