Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the chairmanship of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Commonwealth of Independent States, on 22 December 2020, the 29th meeting of the Advisory Committee of the Heads of Legal Services of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the CIS member states was held in videoconference mode.
The meeting was attended by members of the Advisory Committee from the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the CIS Executive Committee.
During the event, the parties exchanged views on general issues of legal cooperation within the CIS, the creation of a working group to finalize and agree on the draft Methodological Recommendations for the development of draft international treaties concluded within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States, as well as the issue of the activities of the working group on the development of the Convention on the legal status delegations sent to the CIS member states.
A protocol was adopted on the issues discussed.
