Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In October 2019, Uzneftegazinspektsia specialists commissioned the Ministry of Energy to analyze the activities of the subordinate organization Karshi Neft Bazasi LLC for compliance with the rules for the reception, storage and distribution of oil products.

As a result, facts of shortages, inconsistencies in the quality of petroleum products, write-offs without reason, and the sale of petroleum products at preferential prices without a permit were found for a total of 11.53 billion soums.

For example, at the time of the inventory of petroleum products stored in tanks, there was a shortage of 38,400 kg in the amount of 220.3 million soums, surpluses in the amount of 5,700 kg in the amount of 50.9 million soums, unreasonable write-off of oil products without registration of relevant documentation in the amount of 26,400 kg for160.1 million soums, petroleum product sales at preferential prices to gas stations without permission from Uzbekneftegaz in the amount of 3,850 tons for 7.51 billion soums.

In addition to the above, samples of oil products were taken from the tanks located in Karshi Neft Bazasi and transferred to the Tashkent Control and Chemical Laboratory Uzneftegazinspektsii for a detailed analysis for compliance with the quality of oil products. According to the results of the analyzes, it was found that in several tanks with a total volume of 82.9 tons in the amount of 514.6 million soums, oil products do not match the quality. (The value of the goods was estimated by the average quotations of the commodity exchange on October 7-11, 2019.)

Documents based on the results of the study and analysis were provided to law enforcement agencies.
