Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- One of the most authoritative international textile exhibitions in Europe, Fast Textile 2021, will take place in the capital of Poland at the largest exhibition site Ptak Warsaw Expo on 1-3 December, in which a delegation of Uzbekistan, consisting of 130 people, is expected to take part. representing more than 60 textile companies, Dunyo news agency reports.
It is planned to conduct a "trade mission" of manufacturers of textile, leather and footwear products of Uzbekistan in the EU countries.
According to the information of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, every year there is a growing interest in this exhibition from both Uzbek manufacturers of textile products and Polish importing companies. If in 2019 contracts were signed for US$15 million, then in 2020 - for US$20 million. In 2021, it is expected to sign export contracts for US$27-30 million.
In total, more than 1,700 companies, 3,300 people are expected to participate at the Fast Textile 2021 exhibition, the area of exhibition stands is 50 thousand square meters.
This year, Uzbekistan is participating in the event with an impressive national stand of about 600 square meters. The leadership of the Uztekstilprom and Uzcharmpayofzal associations will arrive in Warsaw.
At present, Uzbek textile workers export to Poland about half of the textile products sent to the EU countries. These are threads, yarn, linen, fabrics, as well as finished products - bags, bed linen, towels and more. More and more often in Polish stores there are ready-made clothes - T-shirts, shirts, Uzbek-made suits.
It is important to note that Polish importers are very satisfied with the quality of Uzbek textiles, and this is the most important factor in increasing demand on the Polish and European markets.
Within the framework of the exhibition, it is also planned to organize a conference with the participation of Uzbek, Polish and representatives of textile workers from other countries, B2B and G2B meetings, a visit to the largest in Europe Warsaw textile trade center "GD International" with a seminar on its basis.
