Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 11-12 October 2021, in Nur-Sultan, a delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov took part in the VI meeting of foreign ministers of the countries participating in the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA). This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The meeting participants discussed issues of ensuring security and strengthening mutual trust in the region, stimulating economic cooperation in the post-pandemic period, as well as the current situation in Afghanistan.

As part of the participation in the ministerial meeting, the delegation of Uzbekistan held a number of bilateral meetings.

On 12 October, the heads of delegations of the CICA member countries were received by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
