Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A training center will open in the city of Tashkent, together with the K-Water Academy of South Korea, where workers of the drinking water supply and sewerage system will undergo advanced training courses.
On 27 January 2021, regular negotiations were held between the K-Water Academy and JSC "Uzsuvtaminot" in the format of video conferencing, dedicated to the opening of this center, and advanced training of workers in the field. Consultants from the Asian Development Bank also took part in them.
During the negotiations, it was noted that the construction of this center aimed at improving the qualifications of workers in the water supply sector will begin in the city of Tashkent in 2021. The South Korean partners expressed their readiness to assist in the development of special training programs for managerial and regional employees, training of teachers for the universities of Uzbekistan.
On 9-10 December 2020, a delegation headed by the Chairman of the Board of Uzsuvtaminot Sohib Saifnazarov visited the Republic of Korea, where they discussed the issue of further development of cooperation in the water supply and sewerage system at the K-Water Academy.
At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Uzsuvtaminot JSC and K-Water Group of Companies. This document will allow bringing new knowledge and know-how into the sphere, applying the experience of South Korea in increasing the technical and managerial potential of Uzsutaminot JSC.
