Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On the eve of the VI International Congress of the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan, a book of memoirs about academician, scientist, outstanding archaeologist Edward Rtveladze entitled "In Memory of Edward Rtveladze" was presented.
The publication was presented by a member of the World Society, a special employee of the Miho Museum from Japan Sergey Laptev, who also participated in the creation of the book.
This is a colorful photo album with many pictures of the scientist, as well as essays about him written by members of his family, friends, archaeologists, doctors, lawyers, statesmen. In total, more than 40 people wrote about the scientist. The book also includes the memoirs of Edward Rtveladze himself, as well as his scientific articles about one of the main discoveries in the scientific life of the scientist - Alexandria of Oksiana.
Edward Vasilyevich Rtveladze was an outstanding scientist, archaeologist, researcher and permanent chairman of the scientific council of the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan.
Edward Rtveladze passed away in February 2022.
It should be noted that on 22-24 July, the VI International Congress "The cultural heritage of Uzbekistan is the basis of a new Renaissance" is being held in Samarkand. Its organizers are the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan and the oilfield service company Eriell Group.
