Issues of raising to a new stage of cooperation with the World Bank discussed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Komiljon Karimov received international consultants of the World Bank project Bastian Baumann and Akim Emurli.

The parties exchanged views on the work done and the results achieved within the framework of the component "Improving the quality assurance system in higher education" of the project "Modernization of higher education" with the participation of the International Development Association.

The sides discussed the work within the framework of the project on internal and external quality assurance and the results achieved in higher education institutions based on European standards and guidelines for quality assurance in higher education.

At the same time, tasks were defined to ensure future quality in higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan on the basis of international standards, transform the activities of higher educational institutions and bring cooperation to a new stage.

At the meeting, in addition, the organizational processes of the Forum, which will be held tomorrow in our capital as a continuation of this project, were discussed.

On 31 March, the next Forum on the topic “Improving the quality assurance system in higher education” will be held at the Tashkent State Economic University.
